April 7th was the annual Jabbo Gordon Regatta held at the Venice Youth Boating Association. We had two sailors attend the event, Gage & Arabella Schoenherr, and they both did very well. Windmill Midwinter Championship

March 10th and 11th CCSC was proud to host the Windmill Midwinter Championship for the first time. The event was a huge success and we hope to have the pleasure of hosting next year.We had 12 boats racing, enough breeze for two days of very close sailing in a competitive fleet, and great food and company. Hobie Wave Rave 2012

February 18th and 19th was our first annual Hobie Wave Rave Regatta! We hosted sailors from various areas of the state for two days of great racing and great food. The first day of racing unfortunately did not start until around 2pm when the breeze filled in, but we were able to get two races off once it did. This weekend here at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center was a busy one! We kicked off our annual Carlisle Classic Regatta on Friday with a chili pot luck social and finished out the weekend giving out beautiful handmade glass trophies to our sailors. November 5th & 6th our O'Pen Bic team traveled to the Fall Harvest Regatta hosted by Miami Yacht Club. Team members John Michel, Brent Thogmartin, and Josh Temko placed 2nd-4th in the Sail 4 Fun Fleet and Alex Temko was even moved up to the Advanced Fleet for the second day of the regatta.
