Don’t Sit Around This Summer!
Have Fun at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center in one of our Summer Youth Camps!
We offer a variety of water sports for summer youth camp for children 8 to 17. Camps include various sailing programs (pram, sunfish, jy15), paddling, windsurfing, and junior lifeguards.
Camps are one week sessions beginning on Monday and ending on Friday.
Camp time: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Camp Fees: $250.00
Before care: 8:00 am to 9:00 am After care: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Additional fees for before and after care of $100.00
New this summer: Paddling and Jr. Lifeguard
First Session of Summer Youth Camp begins June 14 and runs thru Aug 16, 2010.
Pram Sailing Camp
Pram Sailing Camp is a baisc level of sailing course that covers the fundamentals of sailing focusing on safety skills while having fun.
Sunfish Sailing Camp
Sunfish Sailing Camp is geared toward 12-14 year olds and older and teaches more technical skills with bigger sails and sailing independently.
JY15 Sailing Camp
JY15 Sailing Camp is a higher level of sailing that builds teamwork as the campers will learn to sail with a partner and becomes more technical with multiple sails.
Windsurfing
Windsurfing is a more physical sport and requires a higher level of skill by balancing on a board while sailing at the same time.
Junior Lifeguard; July 26 only!
Campers learn about ocean and beach safety, lifesaving techniques, rescue board paddling, first aid, weather and environmental hazards in a fun and challenging atmosphere.
Paddling Camp; July 19th only!
Campers will learn the basic paddling skills on a variety of water craft; paddleboards, kayaks, and standup paddleboards.
